For me, living is starting everyday anew, experiencing and listening to every second of the day, and breathing deeply while taking it all in. Yoga, for me, is embracing the imperfect-perfect person I am, and balancing this with laughter, new experiences, and some rule-breaking. It's not about re-inventing or molding a new self -- it's about awakening the potential of who you already are and massaging it for positive growth.
Through growing up in the sunshine of the central California coast and spending most of my adult life in Costa Rica and traveling, I've been introduced to a variety of experiences and approaches, all of which I borrow from and apply to a healthier and balanced version of my work. My travels and training have provided a solid understanding of my true passions and strengths, and in turn a successful track record of helping others realize their full potential and the wellness tools available to make it happen.
My philosophy is simple: support people in becoming a better version of themselves while understanding that no individual journey is one-size-fits-all. Whether it be through massage and muscle awareness training, to coaching and accountability through examining relationships and careers, spirituality, nutrition or how to maneuver life through the right mix of physical activity, I focus on movement of all kinds, embracing change, and trying new things so that people continue adding chapters to their unique story. My empathetic and calm, yet results-driven, style provides a supportive ear while guiding you to find your own answers and making course corrections as needed. I'm always on the path to find the happier, healthier me, as my desires, dreams, and needs constantly evolve. When I get the nudge, I listen and try it out. I check in with myself often for awareness on whether my patterns or habits are appropriate, or if they no longer serve me. I pass this same philosophy and process on to my clients, helping them find similar discoveries.
I have invested well over a thousand hours of training and practice into the art of wellness. In addition to traditional massage and wellness coaching, I offer non-systematic massage using stretching and movement for a full body experience, catering to each individual's needs so that no two massages are alike. I also offer Pranassage (yoga-ssage), Thai Massage, Tok Sen and Yoga.
